Have you been putting off cleaning out your garage or doing much needed yard work because you do not want to deal with the trash it creates? Mark your calendars now because on May 20 the Great Denver Clean Up is taking place all over the city of Denver.
Why participate?
This event is a great opportunity to get rid of small and large unwanted items that have built up in your house. According to the website you are welcome to bring furniture, appliances, yard work waste, etc…to any of the 13 locations that will be accepting trash that day. Make it an even in your neighborhood and encourage people to not only clean up inside their home but also around their home! Anyone in the Denver area can participate even if your trash is not picked up by the city.
This event is for residential waste only! Please no commercial material!
No limit on amount of trash you can bring!
Unlike similar events, the Great Denver Clean Up does not have a limit on how much trash you can bring! This is a great time to work on those projects around the house you have been putting off! Not sure what you want to do? Here is a list of ideas!

- Go through your basement
- Give your yard some much needed TLC
- Get rid of old furniture
Some restrictions apply on WHAT you can throw away but not HOW MUCH you can throw away. Please check their web page for a full list of restrictions.
Haul away is free!
If you are not convinced to partake in the Great Denver Clean Up yet, let us remind you that the hauling away of your trash is FREE that day.
